These drawings were created while traveling in South America with only a sketchbook to record what I saw. The ways in which the trees grew to compete for sunlight and water was fascinating. I really like drawing in pen because there is total commitment with markmaking.

This is my first attempt at street art. Copies were made and pasted up on abandoned buildings in Brooklyn and Manhatten late at night. Street art is the ultimate non-hierarchical way to exhibit work and share with everyone. No admission fees necessary.

This is an imaginary city I drew when I was 12. I had to include it because it reflects my changing ideas about what I value in life. Back then it was fireworks, rollercoasters, and hot dogs. Times have changed.
